Valley Ridge Academy is an approved private academic provider for general education and special education students in grades K-6. Our goal is to help students achieve success that will help them return to their home district. 

Our caring and well-trained staff provides an educational experience that includes all academic subjects along with community experience. Upon intake, we develop an individualized learning plan as a guide for students to return to their districts.

Valley Ridge Academy provides group counseling scheduled as a class three times per week. All students are afforded opportunities for individualized therapy sessions upon request. Special emphasis is placed on:

▪ Anger management
▪ Building relationships with social skills
▪ Empowering students with strategic interventions
▪ Skills to help students cope with real-life situations

VRA students attend field trips, celebrate holidays, and take part in a reward system throughout the school. We aim to make the students’ experience at Valley Ridge Academy as if they were attending their home school district. We also provide restorative practices daily.

Our classrooms are a small, structured, and supportive setting. We provide services that service social and emotional needs along with academic support systems for all students. All classrooms have a teacher and an instructional assistant.
