The PRIDE Program, the area’s leading full-time emotional support program, is excited to announce the launch of the PRIDE IES Program at River Academy for grades K-4 for the 2024-2025 school year! 

What is PRIDE IES? 

PRIDE IES offers a highly specialized and structured program called Intensive Emotional Support (IES) for students who require a more intensive level of support. 

What makes IES unique? 

• Rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA): This evidence-based approach focuses on understanding and modifying behavior to promote success in school and life. 
• Expert Staff: 
  • Classroom-based Special Education Teacher: Provides specialized instruction and support. 
  • Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs): Oversees the program’s therapeutic design and ensures its effectiveness. 
  • Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs): Implement the program’s therapeutic component with each student based on their individualized needs. 
• Exceptional Staff/Student Ratios: 
  • 2:1 Staff to Student Ratio: Ensures each student receives individualized attention. 
  • 1:1 Support Available: Additional support can be provided as needed. 
  • 6-8 students per classroom max.
