Come back, ball!
It was at this exact time, 8:46 a.m. on September 11, 2001, that our lives were changed forever. The world we lived in would never be the same.

Today, we remember the innocent lives lost. We also pay tribute to the devoted, courageous actions of the first responders who worked tirelessly, and in some cases, paid the ultimate price, to save as many lives as possible on that tragic day, and in the days, weeks, months, and years after.

None of our student base was alive to experience this day, but it remains important to learn, that even in the face of the most unspeakable evil, the United States banded together and showed the world the best of us.

It's not just a time to celebrate the last day of summer, have a barbecue, take part in a parade, get those sweet shopping deals, or take one final trip to the beach. It's a day to celebrate the American worker.

Happy Labor Day!

What they’re saying about BHA:

“My daughter started at BHA when she was in ninth grade. We were welcomed into Behavioral Health Associates like family, and once we became a part of it, we never left. The quality of care and learning that we received as a family during a time when we were experiencing multiple health crises could not be found at any other school we had been a part of. The staff we encountered were super patient and they took the time to understand our family dynamics. As a mom to a 2021 BHA graduate, I cannot thank this entire network enough for helping us achieve this milestone.”

– Tina Donnelly, Willow Academy parent

What they’re saying about BHA:

“My family and I are very grateful for ISST. The teachers and staff are great! When my daughter arrived at ISST in 2020 she wasn’t able to express herself and communicate. She has learned how to socialize with others, read, write, and even add and subtract, and now multiply. ISST has been extraordinary and they have given us hope ever since the start of my daughter’s journey here in PA.”

– Cynthia Quinones, ISST parent

What they’re saying about BHA:

“Our son Daniel attended BHA’s Mahoning Valley Academy for the past two years. During that time, he has grown with the support system of the staff there. He was also given opportunities with the Career Employment Program that gave him skills he will use in the workforce. I highly recommend this program to anyone with children that have special needs.

– Bob Brown, Mahoning Valley Academy parent

What they’re saying about BHA:

“I wanted to tell you how grateful I am for you. He’s improved more with your classes than I have seen since dealing with his obstacles. I’m in nursing school now and this has been the longest I have ever been able to focus on school and go without having to get calls to pick him up or stop going to school because of issues that have arisen. You truly have no idea what it means to me to have that support. I really want to thank you for everything you do. It goes beyond the classroom.”

– ISST parent
